Jeet Kotedia

Jeet Kotadia, MRICS, is a real estate professional who works in valuation and has previously worked in transaction advisory and property management with a comprehensive expertise across the African continent spanning multiple institutional asset classes. He holds a bachelor's degree in business management from Coventry University and a master's degree in real estate from the University College of Estate Management (UCEM, UK). As a chartered member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), his work strictly adheres to the highest international valuation and ethical standards.

Jeet began his career in property management and property transactions, gaining vital on-the-ground experience in asset performance and market transactions before transitioning into valuation and property finance. Over four years of intensive valuation experience, he has developed deep technical expertise across essential methodologies, including the Income Capitalization Approach, Sales Comparison Approach and Depreciated Replacement Cost (DRC), alongside advanced capabilities in Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) modelling. His broad sectoral experience covers industrial properties, commercial office space, residential portfolios, vacant land and specialised institutional asset classes such as student housing and hotels.

Leveraging this technical versatility, Jeet has delivered institutional-grade valuation and advisory mandates for both private entities and prominent listed companies. Notably, his portfolio exposure includes driving critical valuations for institutional platforms such as African Logistics Properties (ALP) in Kenya, Fortress REIT in South Africa, alongside extensive regional experience across Tanzania, Uganda Angola, Mauritius, and Mozambique, among others.

Previously, Jeet operated within the valuation and advisory division at CBRE Excellerate, part of the world's largest commercial real estate services firm. Driven by a distinct passion for commercial real estate, his career is defined by an energetic approach to analysing complex market dynamics, structuring property studies, and providing the robust financial modelling required to back high-stakes capital deployment across Sub-Saharan Africa.
